Always having had a great interest in technology I started studying Mechanical Engineering at the Delft University of Technology. Whilst studying my main hobby was composing music and playing in various bands.
Whilst making music I naturally gravitated towards the technical aspects of it and hence started learning how to record and produce music in the studio, this led to me working as a sound engineer on the side of my study.
As I finished up my masters in Biomedical Engineering I started simultaneously working more jobs as a sound engineer, both within music but also within broadcast. This broadcast work led to me learning more and more about the broadcast world and also led me to go deeper into the world of esports broadcasting. From there on it was a gradual but distinct progress of going from sound engineer to technical operations manager of broadcasts into the role of head of broadcast tech where I am today.
